Cool Movie Browser is a 32-bit application because the Adobe Flash Player (used by the all online streams like Veetle, YouTube and Online Sports) doesn't work on 64-bit browsers.

So, you need to have a JVM/JRE/JDK x86 (32-bit) as default, not the 64-bit version, in order to have the CMB started!

Cool Movie Browser version 2.3 is available as of today, and it has fixed the "startup problem" for the fresh installations (first time ever install).

Many thanks Dave and Wayne for helping to narrow down this ugly bug.

Cheers!

Thank you for writting the feedback.

Can you tell me for what version of CMB is this happening, please?

CMB is not supposed to close all the tabs -- so, if you close the Movie Library and Playlist (they are allways in pair), then other tabs should be available, like Online TV, YouTube or Veetle.

If you have no tab at all, then there is a bug in my app, which I need to investigate and fix. Please confirm if this is your case!

I you have at least one tab left, there is a configuration button (the wrench icon), which opens a dialog that allows you to make visible the closed tabs.

I am looking forward for your response.

Thank you again for taking time to write here...

Cheers!

Great App! However, some of my movies are being displayed with incorrect IMDB info. Is there a way to manually enter the IMDB number to correct it? Even in the case that my movie file is named wrong, simply renaming the movie does not update the information.

Hi there,

Thank you for writing the question here.

Yes, there is a way to correct the wrong detected IMDB identifier.

Steps:
- select the presentation of the movies list in "Slinding List, <-|||->"
- select your movie
- click-and-hold 2sec on "More Info..." button, until a menu appears.
- select the "Edit IMDB Indentifier" and correct your movie.
- click OK and then you're done.

Cheers!
